? what are you saying to the world with your personal Fashion

There's a saying that if you want to know how much money a man has look at his shoes. and no clothes don't say everything about you, but they definitely say something so it might as well be fly.. fashion on it's basic level begins with first what you like personally. then once you look at some music videos. magazines. everyday people. etc. things begin to change a bit, and what started out as you expressing yourself becomes you with influences from others.. people start to get in trouble with fashion when they stop being themselves. so do you know who you are in fashion terms? a genuine fashion sense stems from first your personality. me personally i'm pretty much an introvert unless i know you, to the public i keep to myself. so on any of the clothes i buy i don't want many visible logos of the brands i wear because i like to be low key and also i'm not a damn billboard.. i hate it when people say things like 'i don't have anybody to impress'. yes you do, you have to impress yourself. fashion is more than just picking clothes also. with every different item from shirt. to shoe. to watch. to cologne. your saying something different with each item.. but in my opinion the way your clothes fit you says more than what you even have on, and that's a common misunderstanding from a fashion stand point.. the next time you go shopping and that shirt. pants. or whatever it is that your buying isn't in your perfect size. and i mean perfect size. put it down and look for something else. if your a skinny man/woman you need to put on form fitting clothes. skinny men don't need baggy jeans you look like a damn fool. and if your a bigger person you need to buy clothes that provide you with some room to breathe. we don't need to be able to see every dimple and crease in your upper body. just keeping it real.. Suits and slacks. dresses and blouses will never go out of style. so if you don't have either as a man/woman i would suggest you make it a point to add them to your wardrobe.. Everytime you leave your house it's an audition for the world. you might as well be fly. and always remember that a man or a woman's shoes say more about you than anything else that you have on.. what do you think?

? do you make situations more Stressful than they need to be

Calm the hell down! take a deep breathe and allow yourself to see the bigger picture. i would personally have a glass of red wine(Merlot). naw change that to a whole bottle.. We make some of the most simple situations into complete chaos and it's mainly because we're putting too much thought into situations. so what is considered too much thought? well, if you know you've done your best to handle or correct a situation and your best isn't quite enough. move past it.. that's definitely easier said than done, but we've all been there before and stressing over the situation doesn't fix the situation.. if bill collectors could give you a stress test and depending on your level of stress due to the situation they would give you an extension, would that be fair? as ridiculous as that sounds is just as ridiculous as worrying over something that you can't change. so your best bet is to keep on going on with your life.. I believe that most of the stress surrounding this country derives from family. friends. bills. or health.. we don't seem to stress over things that we don't give a shit about.. whether your spouse/significant other is really meant for you. wondering if your child is on the right track for success. whether or not your going to have a job in the next 6 months. or if your health is going to allow you to make it past Christmas.. all of these situations and more add to your level of stress and if not dealt with correctly it can be fatal.. I eluded in yesterday's blog about how stress depending on how severe can take a minimum of 5-10 years off of your life. now i don't know about you but i'll be damned if my life is cut short due to earthly problems such as bills. other people frustrating me. etc.. So i'm gonna sit back, finish my wine. and leave the rest to God... what do you think?

? do you have a Job or a Career

You can admit it. it's ok.. you wake up. go to work. then you go to sleep.. you wake up again. go to work. then go to sleep. doesn't the shit feel like groundhog day? roughly 45-50% of people in America are dissatisfied with their current way of making a living.. damn that's high.. it's psychologically proven that when genuinely interested in anything people do exceptionally better. but i didn't have to tell you that cause you can sing to me the lyrics of your favorite song verbatim, but you can't recite for me the code of conduct policies at your job.. A job is basically a means to an end, and a career is something you grow and retire with. several people find themselves getting jobs then shit happen in their lives and all of a sudden what was once supposed to be a pit stop turns into a home.. if you don't like what you're doing when you first start, it's not going to grow on you.. let me repeat myself. business is like dating. if you didn't like what you saw the first few times the chances of it growing on you in a positive way are slim to none.. if what you do to make an earning causes you stress or unhappiness in any way, your headed down a dark road with your lights off. in other words there's nothing positive that can come out of that situation. plus stress can take off at least 5-10 years your life.. You gotta do what you gotta do. so why not do something that you enjoy? a career isn't promised to anyone though. you have to go above and beyond the call of duty to receive it. a college degree won't promise it to you. nor will a hook up from a friend. it's all about you searching because only a minority of Americas population actually has a career.. having a career will add a sense of esteem to you. and self empowerment is the greatest feeling in the world.. everyone's gotta work at least 40 hrs a week. you might as well enjoy it... what do you think?

? does racism have more to do with Color or Lifestyle

We fear what we don't understand. that's common amongst most of the people on earth, but if everyone had a better understanding about other cultures would we embrace the physical differences much easier?.. i've heard people of various ethnicity's and genders make negative comments about other races. but the comments are never made without mentioning public opinionated stereotypical habits or plain old fashion individual ignorance. what i mean is that the person being negatively spoken of, the color of their skin always comes after the comments. that's because people aren't upset with the color their upset with the lifestyle. racism at it's most ignorant level can't just be about color, that's just too simple.. Barack Obama isn't having a difficult time with that 10% of voters who don't want to vote for a black man because he's actually black. it has more to do with those people not understanding the culture and being afraid of the country being ran in a way that they will have to change for.. Race on it's most basic level is actually the biggest blunder in the history of the world. we actually look at human beings who were all born from a woman and have the same organs and all pump blood through our veins as a different species based off of different lifestyles or color of skin. that shit is really embarrassing.. but i'm guilty too. i make preconceived assumptions based off of color and lifestyle but i'm trying to break the habit.. It's definitely easier as a child though. so if you have kids or don't have kids yet. teach them to embrace different races earlier in their life so each generation gets better with this situation.. race is just like anything else you deal with, it is what you make it... what do you think?

? how often should Women have to Pay

With the theme of '08 being 'change' we have gotten to see several things in our society that have been relevant for a while but we're just catching up to. one being minorities holding prominent offices with this country. and the other is women holding prominent positions as well.. Hilary Clinton and as much as is hurts me to say this Sarah Palin have given the women of this country a great deal of esteem which i think they have had for a long time, but the country is just realizing their full potential.. So with the great deal of 'change' that is going on i think we should also alter our perceptions as far as dating is concerned. both candidates McCain and Obama have pledged to change the pay rate for women in this country. equal pay, for equal work is the motto and i completely agree. so if the rate pay goes up, shouldn't a woman's ability to pay for a date also go up? I used to be a believe that a woman should pay 10% of the time regardless of who asked who out on a date. as of now i don't have a specific percentage for the future (i'll figure something out soon though) but it should be higher then 10%.. Most people would say it depends on who asks who out on the date. but no it doesn't. it's chivalrous and courteous for a gentleman to pay, that's just the way it is. but it's so beautiful and sexy (i can't explain why it's sexy, it just is) when a woman WITHOUT being asked or hinted to grabs that check and handles her business.. it just is.. The responsibilities of women in this world are growing as i am typing right now, and i'm one of the strongest advocates for their progress.. so it's not too much to ask anymore for women to take more responsibility in dating either... what do you think?
