? why is the Divorce rate in America 50%.. and what Gender is more responsible for it

Divorce is the least spoken about major social issue in this country.. and from what I've noticed and researched. most divorce cases shouldn't have made it to the alter in the first place.. We as people are very complex. and when we decide to take on something as huge as marriage, not enough is being considered in the process. you can't even tell the difference between girlfriend/boyfriend and husband/wife these days because the lifestyles are such the same. but it's definitely not the same.. Age has alot to do with the rate as well. in the U.S. the legal age of marriage is 18 (except for Nebraska *19 and Mississippi *21). so you can basically make a forever decision like marriage before you can have a shot of tequilla. what type of logic is that? and it's not the age, as much as it's the perception of readiness that's the issue. 45% of divorce cases are initiated because of financial issues.. essentially couples are getting married too young w/ out enough money.. Now individually. men, we can feel a bit pressured to put a ring on a woman's finger. pressure from family, job, society, our women, even a pregnancy. and I believe it's that pressure mixed with pride that can lead to most premature decisions.. women are served with the same type of pressures. but I believe one eventually jumps above the rest, and that's the infamous 'biological clock'. that clock is the main reason many get down that isle.. assuming a woman want's to have kids anyway.. The institution of marriage has also changed over the years. gay marriage has begun being passed through a few states as of now. and who would have thought that would happen even 5-7 years ago.. Prenuptial agreements are being handed out like local telephone books. which flirts with marriage as being a 5 year commitment to having sex, and not being looked at by relatives as 'shacking up'. hanging out with other boring ass married circles. getting discounted health care. and going half on a baby.. Family members also put a great deal of pressure on you to hurry up and get married. 'when am I gonna have some grandkids!' coming from the background can make the strongest soul catch a flight to Vegas and make some bad decisions..But the divorce rate is truly at a scary pace.. look at it this way. half of the weddings you will go to in your lifetime, maybe even your own will eventually end in divorce. definitely something to think about.. and as far as which gender is more to blame. there are just too many situations that happen in life to put the blame more on either gender. hell, you can be financially stable when you start then have the wheels fall off in the middle of a great plan. But take your time, and make sure it's right. because forever is a long time.. What do you think?

? should Ho's be given Center Stage in the Media.. *If the word Ho offends you. Stop @ this point*

Now let me be clear. I'm not speaking of a garden tool. Nor a leg stocking women use on a daily basis. I'm talking about the chicks you see in strip clubs , most music videos, all the girls on 'flavor of love', tila tequila on MTV (picture above), and the characters on 'Sex and the City'. now I actually enjoy sex and the city (no homo), but let's be honest they were classy ho's.. And contrary to what some believe. ho's do exist.. I thought of this question while seeing how many video girls have started to make some decent money in entertainment and network television. I mean these women are starting to become best selling authors.. I read Superheads first book and half of the second (can't knock it til you read it). and she isn't talking about shit. This ho actually had the audacity to call herself an icon.. And Oprah should be ashamed of herself for bringing that nonsense to a national stage.. yeah I said it.. she's no victm. she's a permiscuous woman who knows exactly what she's doing.. And yeah I understand the message Oprah was projecting, but you could have brought on Queen Latifah and Beyonce', some classy women to get the same point across.. So I got to wondering what young woman looking to make something of herself will see her story and begin to mimic it. if not directly, but indirectly.. Now let's be honest, there are ho's everywhere around us in our everyday world. and a lot of them are great people. but in my opinion being glorified in an office setting for brains is very different than making a video and giving brain.. If there was a business woman in a corporate environment, I wouldn't look at the Chairman of Coca-Cola and say 'don't make her CEO, she's a ho'.. Her level of mental knowledge got her to where she is, not a quickie in the truck (most of the time).. I believe even in making money, there must be some principles and honor in how your conducting business.. And no I'm not hating on these ho's, they hate on themselves.. I'm only pointing out the fact that there are educated women out here, looking just as good. but are getting less attention and opportunities from the media... What do you think?-

? do you think the Republican Party will have to change it's Conservative ways for future Success

Watch out for the Republican Party if your affiliated. and even if your not for that matter over the next 4-8 years.. It's important to pay attention to the other political parties even if you don't stand for what they do. your choice may not always win. that's Democracy. you must know how to play every position in the game of politics.. and if you can vote then you're a player in the game.. John McCain is actually one of the more liberal republicans to come about in a while. and the party doesn't enjoy it, but they will grin and bear it through the election for the sake of the party.. I'm predicting a young, smart, firm but personable candidate will emerge and contend with the democratic party. post Obama.. I believe Bobby Jinal (picture left) will be the next great one. @ 36 he's currently the youngest Govenor in the U.S, and making great strides... Politics are all about trends, and momentum. and the democrats have it now.. But the political history of America teaches us 2 things.. democrats are not good at repeating as President, and their no good at handing the office down to another democrat to take over.. democrats and republicans have been fighting over 'who's turn it is' for a long time now.. since 1900 there have been 18 presidents in the U.S. (11 republicans, 7 democrats) .. and Bill Clinton is the only democrat to repeat since 1950.. But generation Y is a different type of beast that America didn't anticipate. I get nervous my damn self thinking about where we're going to take this country.. and for anyone to win this generation over, you can't stand too far to the right anymore. Our generation is sooooo far left, that you would have to stand politically 'in the middle' or you'll lose too many potential voters.. So pay attention!. they're down for now. but as our nations history has shown us, Republicans know how to win an election.. What do you think?-

? has Hip Hop had a Positive or Negative overall effect on America

'Hewlett-Packard inks marketing deal with Jay-Z'.. That doesn't even sound right. what in the hell does hip hop have to do with computers?.. That is just one example of the influence that hip hop has had on America. Hip Hop has been a dominant force in white america since '96-'97. but it blew the hell up when Eminem came and they could identify phsically with someone who was actually good at the craft.. From brand name shoes to premium liquor, artists have made $2 out of a dime and continue to help race in America blossom with tremendous speed.. We've tried several different ways to help race in this country, but it seems to me that hip hop is the best medicine.. I personally don't think Barak Obama would have had the same success if not for hip hop culture.. Seeing African Americans progressing financially and culturally over the last 15 years has made it much easier for other races to accept Obama.. Sports is a definite staple in our countries culture. and that's one of the biggest areas where hip hop has taken over.. Certain people such as Oprah, and Bill O'Reilly (who's a prick anyway) look to cencor the music, and discredit the genre as if there is no true talent.. But their ignorance is surpassed by only their hypocracy. they both promote wanting to progess our nation, but neither is willing to actually set personal interest a side and validate the influence that Hip Hop has created.. Oprah had superho. I mean superhead on her show. but wouldn't allow Ludacris, Ice Cube, or 50 Cent on her show. that's bullshit, and an injustice to everyone in the craft. executives included. oh yeah Oprah also found time to attended L.A. Reid's (Chairman of Def Jam Records) birthday bash. I guess politics never stops.. But even she can't stop the movement, nor the creativity that will continue to make Hip Hop the biggest influence on America today... What do you think?-
