? at what point do you Stop trying to fix a Relationship. and move on

This one can be a very tuff call at times because of the work that it takes to build a situation. relationships are the one thing that takes us as individuals out of our realm of self comfort, and places a major responsibility on someone else to provide us with support for our lives (if your serious anyway).. Now I don't know about you, but I'm all about depending on only God and myself for my wants and needs. but no matter what you want to do, while in the relationship for it to work you must COMPROMISE.. Relationships end for several different reasons. but they all end due to lack of compromise from one or both sides at some point. there are a lot of people who have invested their entire lives in a relationship and have crapped out. so that leaves them with no choice but to fix the one and only situation they do have. which sucks.. Some would set a timeframe of 1 month and others would say 1 year. but if you two plan on being together forever then why have a damn timeframe. and if your not planning on forever then stop delaying the inevitable and break the hell up!.. I personally don't believe in the notion that everyone is meant for one person and we all have 'soulmates'. matching horoscope nonsense.. I believe there are about 1,000 people out there for you. and you happen to meet about 5-10 of them throughout your lifetime.. the rest of the people you date or meet aren't meant for marriage. their in your life for great companionship, random episodes of sex, or both.. The shits not chess to me, it's checkers. if the relationship doesn't look and feel right anymore, it probably isn't.. but to have a fully conducive relationship built on a great foundation and looking towards the future, your heart must be completely committed to wanting to meet the needs of your partner.. Now if for some reason all logic is confusing the shit out of you, and your tired of comparing all the positives and negatives. just look your significant other in the face and ask yourself.. 'can i look at this pretty/ugly somebitch every morning for the rest of my life'. If you can, then that's where compromise begins. and if you can't, then that's where packing your bags begins... what do you think?-

? are you really on your 'Grind'

For those who don't know what a grind is. it's slang terminology for 'hard work'.. Now that we've gotten our hip hop 101 lesson for the day, let's get to business.. How many times have you asked someone "so what have you been up to" and their response is "working hard" or "i'm on my grind".. no your not. your not on your grind and you don't have to lie about it.. The main difference between those who succeed in this world and those that fail is hard work. effort. with a few exceptions of course.. so if everyone you speak to is 'working hard' then why are so many people stuck on the same shit.. Our society has a huge issue. we have this blue collar mentality, which isn't bad it's just out dated. we have this complex that causes us to want to use our hands instead of our heads.. if you were to come up with a great idea 20 years ago you could tell the people who are in your vacinity on a daily basis and that's it. but now you can come up with wacky ideas like myspace, youtube, dr.question's blog and you can reach the world straight from home.. i laugh at the statisticians or so called 'experts' who come up with odds such as only 1 in 500,000 people will get a record deal. or 1 in 1 million will make it to the nba. what in the hell does that mean?.. those stats scare the ambition out of people.. what gives me the confidence to try so many different ideas besides the fact that i believe i'm very talented. is that 80% of people and maybe even more won't even attempt to compete at a very high level with anything in their lifetime. so who is on their grind for real?.. Being on your grind doesn't always have to translate to money either. at least not immediately.. a true grind takes time, that's why it's called a grind.. And in order to begin saying that your on one, there must be some type of progress taking place. it takes a mentality unlike any other to get down and fight for what's yours.. But deep down inside i guess people are really cowards and aren't willing to risk everything, and maybe even fall on your face for success.. that's the true definition of a 'grinder'.. So if that definition doesn't fit you it's ok. just get your pom poms out and cheer us on. shit, somebody's gotta make it happen.. what do you think?

? do you have a problem with any type of Interracial dating

This question was worded very specific for those who need to take another look at race realtions.. I asked the same question to 30 random people and they all said no the first time around.. then when I asked what if their mother, sister, brother, or someone they were related to was playing with different markers. 50% of them said 'hell yeah' they have a problem.. when you wake up in the morning you don't always match the 'same' colors together, you match the 'right' colors together for the perfect outfit. and it should be the same with people, but we're so conditioned to conforming to what culture and society has set in place already.. I personally do date outside of my race, very often actually. and when I go through the best dating experiences of my past, all but 2 were interracial.. But you have to be able to handle it because on the flip side of all the positives there are several negatives. no matter where you go people are going to stare.. me and my Egas dealt with lots of whsipers and confused looks while going anywhere in public. but that actually made our relationship stronger at the time.. you have a 50-50 chance of maintaining your situation by the way you handle public perception. some people fold, and some get stronger. but you'll find out very fast what type of person your dealing with because it's usually pretty obvious.. Most interracial dating starts with curiosity. first your curious, then your addicted.. all the stereotypes you've ever heard will lead you to getting caught slippin'.. like 'are black guys really packing'. or 'when a hispanic woman says papi in bed, the sex feels better'. and 'are white girls really that wild & crazy'.. I guess curiosity killed the cat (no pun intended).. I'm not into asian, black, hispanic or white. i'm into good and bad.. if i've learned anything in my 25 years. i've learned that good women, and good men (no homo) are hard to find.. In my opinion people who date 'seriously' outside of their race have the most character on the planet. it takes a special type of person to handle all of the criticism and negative opinions that other people project for such a personal decision.. So if the Lord blesses you with someone of another race you thank him and appreciate the opportunity, regardless of what your friends, family, and the public have to say.. Because so many people miss out on a great experience for matching the 'same' colors. not the 'right' colors... what do you think?

? do you think American Politicians are 'Flip Floppers'

Have you personally ever made a decision based on the facts you were initially given. then when the facts changed whether large or small, your decision changed with the facts.. Then why do people constantly refer to politicans as 'flip floppers'.. now some are actually confused individuals who shouldn't have the office they hold, but for the most part there are competent individuals in politics.. What is it that we're expecting from politicans honestly. do we want them to predict the future? well that's not gonna happen. Or maybe we want them to say one thing for months, then when it's time to make a decision they should do the opposite. well we just received a dose of that from ole 'W' in office now. and how's that working out for us.. I understand that politicans are some of the most crook'ed people on the planet, so it's easy to always assume that they have a trick up their sleeve.. But alot of what they say actually makes sense, and if you have ever managed or made major decisions for people, then you understand that it's very difficult and maybe even impossible to please everybody.. The news media brings up this 'flip flop' business on candidates McCain and Obama daily because they don't have shit to talk about leading up til November. so don't be fooled by their heavy agendas to meet ratings. it's all a ploy for advertising dollars.. read the facts for yourself, then listen to the candidates and make a decision when it's time... what do you think?

? do you Pursue your childhood Dreams as an Adult

Do you even remember what you used to dream about as a child? what you wanted to be or things you wanted to accomplish. many people over look the importance of having a dream, or a goal you set for yourself.. As adults we get so lost in the now, and what problems we face. life takes a toll on all of us, and for some life can knock that child like ambition out of you.. The feeling we had before we conformed to what the world has made us all.. that's why we cherish children so much. not just because they can't protect themselves. but because their the most honest people on the planet. and the closest people to God.. No agendas. no quotas to meet.. just pure ambition right from the heart. because they don't have to deal with the day-to-day bullshit.. The late Randy Pausch spoke about dreams in his great speech "The Last Lecture" where he touched on never losing the ability to just be a kid again.. It's more symbolism than anything. as an adult you have the ability unlike a child to get up and do something about those dreams. and everyone is entitled to having and pursuing their dreams.. Everyday presents new challenges. and stress I believe is the number one hindrance for losing that child like state of mind.. when your too concerned about miscellaneous garbage frustration will cloud the mind and that's not gonna gain you any progress. so I guess that would be the first step to pursuing your dreams. you must be bullshit free.. because that child like creativity is what breeds greatness on Earth. and those who have lost it make up the rest... what do you think?
