? is it really ok for a Woman to make more Money than her Man

Since the late 1960's when President Lyndon B. Johnson made equal employment opportunities an American agenda. women have been doing extremely well over the past 40 years.. Women are assuming titles ranging from proffessional athlete to chief executive officer, it truely is a beautiful thing.. Now on the other hand men we have pretty much tapped out our nation as far as new job industries are concerned. any industry you decide to join is overly saturated. so when the markets are maxed out, the price for labor reaches a peak and then slowly begins to decrease. so pretty much men went out of style in the 80's, and women began kicking corporate ass and gaining higher levels of education.. now men are still making roughly $7,000 more than women. but among all couples 33% of women are making more than there men. and women are accounting for 43% of the household income. What's a man to do to keep his ego strong? I personally have never had a problem with it. but I've also always had aspirations of being very wealthy individually. so if my woman did make more than me, that doesn't make me a bum. it just means that she's crazy paid.. But the real question to ask here isn't the one I presented. the real question is what kind of life is the man in the relationship living, and is he comfortable with that.. Money damn sure isn't everything, and it doesn't measure the worth of a man. that would be too easy, and humans are properly complicated.. So as men we don't need to be checking the pockets of our women, as much as we're checking the quality of our character.. damn that sounds so cliche'. but it's true... what you think?-

Of course its okay for a woman to make more money than her man. The question is, whether or not her man is secure enough with himself to accept that his woman makes more than he does. Let's face it, we live in a society where women are receiving college degrees at a higher rate than men, which is correlated with a higher income. With that said men would do well to define their security not by how much they make, but by who they are and what they are able to achieve. It may sound cheesy but its very necessary and quite practical.
