I bet Obama and McCain after the debate the other night went to a small lounge/bar in NYC and had a drink together to 'shoot the shit'. i'm definitely exaggerating but it wouldn't be as far fetched as you would think.. Politics is just like any other job you come across, it just involves personal feelings and emotions because it effects your world personally.. football teams talk trash to each other. fortune 500 companies telling you their brands are better than their competitors. that is exactly what the two candidates are doing to each other.. it's not personal. it's business.. Now in relation to our day-to-day lives we're in constant competition as well trying to vie for our bosses vote for a certain

position. affection from a particular guy/girl. or perhaps acceptance from a certain group of people.. we're all trying to get votes and we politic to do so.. Politics is also relative to real life as far as your past is concerned. candidates talk about each others records without even knowing what the choices were based upon, and the same things happen in real life.. co-workers know whatever is going on in your life such as divorce. past employment. experience. who you had sex with in the office. etc.. work is supposed to be a place that is completely separate from personal, but these days they co-mingle so often that employers want to know your private life as well to a certain extent(they will never tell you this, but they do).. have you ever greeted a co-worker with a full embrace and a smile. then when they walk away you said 'i can't stand that bitch'. that's politics, and we all have to participate no matter what.. So be careful with what you say and watch your record(behaviors). because somebody wants the same spot you want or obtain already. and they will play dirty to get it... what do you think?
