? what does being a Professional & having Class mean to you

I've come to the conclusion that the expression 'to each es own' is the most accurate way of describing human perception. some people see the same situations with the old glass half empty frame of mind as opposed to the glass being half full.. Now in terms of professionalism and having class this is also something which falls within the gray area of the confusing 'to each es own' idiom.. being a professional is more than just simply controlling your temper at work. it's about being timely. efficient. thoughtful. and most importantly organized. and in your daily life you must operate as a professional person as well. professionalism is not a switch that you can turn on and off, eventually inconsistencies will penetrate your false facade.. Now classy by definition is exhibiting refinement and high character. having elegance. taste. or refinement in manners or dress.. this is the one that i believe people are very confused with. that's why i set up my comments by definition of the word, so that we're all on the same page and there are no misunderstandings.. having class is all about 2 things, minding your manners and being considerate of others.. smacking while eating. talking loud in public. talking excessively about the money you do or don't have. these are all instances and i can name many more that are class-less behaviors.. and it doesn't matter if you have a dime in your pocket or where your from. having class doesn't cost you anything. it's all about your willingness to conduct yourself properly under any and all circumstances.. Now of course we're all human and we're gonna make mistakes pertaining to both professionalism and class. but anyone who is true to form will monitor and correct any negative behaviors to the definitions of both terms.. It's a must to be proficient at both characteristics as an adult. a MUST... what do you think?
