So do you kiss his/her ass or do you point out opportunities for them to improve? people assume because their boss gets paid more and has authority over them that gives them right to get away with nonsense during day-to-day activities. it's a very challenging task to work for someone who's job you know you can do better than they can, or working for just a complete ass hole. i find comfort in knowing that most bosses don't have the real control. in fact your boss is under more criticism and pressure than you are, that's why their so stressed and micro-managing your ass.. At this time in my life i happen to actually enjoy working with my boss. and no it's not because

he may read this, i really don't give a shit about his personal feeling for me. i'm very good at my job and that's all that matters. but the fact that i enjoy working with him makes it easier for me to get up in the morning and clock in everyday. success comes easier at work because i don't feel like i have to be perfect everyday. we as people are entitled to having 'one of those days', just as long as it's just one of those days and not one of those weeks or months. energy is contagious, and so is laziness.. The best way to handle a horrible boss is to have 3 traits. you must have mental strength. patience. and a great work ethic.. out performing all of your co-workers is the best way to control your bosses what i like to call 'wiggle room'. every company gives people in leadership some wiggle room to adjust the rules and regulations of the company. not violating them, just adjusting them because every situation is different.. Success is the best answer to anything that frustrates or upsets you. it shows strength and focus when your not mentally at your strongest and your still getting the job done, that's professionalism in it's peak form.. So smile and calculate your issues with your boss wisely. only address the big one's, not the meaningless issues. and always remember the best solution for a horrible boss is exceeding the companies expectations for performance... what do you think?
