Some parents are alcoholics.. many are adulterers.. and others are habitual liars.. so that guarantees that their children will be just the same correct? not at all. so why do so many people believe that gay couples shouldn't be able to adopt children?.. This is actually a tough subject for me to touch because i don't know much about homosexuals nor their communities. but from a humane standpoint; there are just so many people who are horrible straight parents that it amazes me how you can deny an orphan, or a child that was put up for adoption a chance to be loved by people who want to take care of them.. children need love. i know i'm sounding like an after school special, but honestly it is such hypocrisy.. sometimes common sense just needs to override personal preference.. Arkansas recently passed a law that forbids unmarried couples from being able to adopt children. if you do the math they also ban gay couples from getting married. so basically they set it up so that gay people can't adopt because they can't get married in the state either.. yeah right. this is the same state which in 2003 had to pass an incest law because family members couldn't or wouldn't stop fucking around with each other.. Children are no different than adults in a sense that if you don't have something in life then you adjust to not having it and you act accordingly. so if a child has no mother they'll make adjustments. several children grow up without fathers so if 2 women were to raise a child that wouldn't be anything new.. To me it's all about proper parenting. because no matter how you raise your children nothing guarantees them success accept their own hard work... what do you think?
