The day the world 'Changed'

America has spoken. loud and clear we as a nation have decided to move forward and in the process we have broken down racial barriers.. The phrase 'with liberty and justice for all' feels a lot different today. it's more than just something you say during the Pledge of Allegiance. minorities of all races can finally look their children in the eye and say with conviction 'you can be anything you want to be'. and that feeling alone is true liberty and justice for all.. Barack Obama has transcended the world and captured our imagination in such a way that no person has since Dr. Martin Luther King. his story is just beginning, but he already is one of the top 5 most influential people to ever walk the face of the earth. and he has the potential to become #1 depending on his legacy during his 8 years in office.. and no i didn't mis-type.. i meant 8 years in office.. I personally believe that he will go down in history as the best President to ever take office. and he will be the world's President, not just the United States.. his ability to unite people is nothing like i have ever seen before.. America is a huge melting pot. long gone were the times when you could say suburban and only see white people.. the U.S. constitution was created in 1787 and the preamble begins with this, 'We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union..' that sentence alone characterizes the ideology of this nation, and that is why this is the greatest country in the world.. I had ultimate faith in the American people and they didn't let me down. i have never been more proud to be an American than what i feel right now at this moment, and i'm gonna make sure to do my part along this journey with President Obama.. Today begins a new movement. the 'Obama Generation'. my President is Black.. Damn that feels good to say... what do you think?
