? would you kick it with George W. after he leaves office

It's easy to say hell no! but have you ever failed at a job you've had before? George W. has had a horrible 8 years in office, but he has honestly come a long way as a person.. If i was to tell you that an alcoholic who beat his wife would one day be President you wouldn't believe me for one second. but that's Bush's story along with much more.. he's a 4th generation rich kid who liked to party. many who criticize him if they were given the same opportunities may even be in jail at this point, but he became President.. At the end of the day we must put at least half of the blame we project Bush's way back toward ourselves, the American people because we voted for him. maybe not the first time, but if we felt that strong about him not being in office it wouldn't have been close enough to steal. we gave him the legs to allow his ignorance and lack of good judgement to run wild. if any of us had the backing of the American people right now we would accept the position as well. i know i would.. But everything happens for a reason. if Bush weren't as bad at President as he was, then white people wouldn't be ready to vote for a black man. he is literally the worst and best thing to happen to America. he unveiled that curtain that has been between government and citizens throughout the duration of our existence as a nation with his incompetence. we as a people have been blind folded for so long that we finally realize that any one of any race or gender can actually run this country. and without Bush we would still be in the dark.. To answer my own question i would enjoy sitting down with a former president Bush to ask questions and pick his brain, because he had to have learned something over the last 8 years. i recently saw 'W.' the movie by Oliver Stone about George W.. Oliver Stone attended Yale with Bush in the 60's so his perspective is an interesting one that all Americans should see. after watching the movie i have a new view point on Bush as a person, not as a politician.. He is apart of all of us forever cause we created this monster. and we have now officially put him to sleep... what do you think?

Dinner and his movie? Of course…….. I would love to!

I think he makes an outstanding figure of political and social sciences……
I by no means fault Bush for the turn out of the country…. He wasn’t alone…
I don’t even stamp his presidency as his own during the 8 years… he was merely a continuation of a family business, and the government was merely an infrastructure and for that…. hats off Mr. president… your business is booming

If I may say as well, this statement:
“we as a people have been blind folded for so long that we finally realize that any one of any race or gender can actually run this country. and without Bush we would still be in the dark”

Bothers the shit out of me!

Blind folded? Or ignorant? Let’s be honest rather than find an excuse and call it manipulation…. It’s been going on for too long.

I am however elated to find Barack given the circumstances, to be a phenomenon to come true….simple fact of the “dream” rendered to children….. If this is the inspiration they needed to overcome themselves PERFECT…… no more excuses of not being able to achieve based on a history of self hate passed down.
But I’m not impressed…..

I see a powerful nation distracted by the phenomenon of a black man being in office, yet with lack of caution that reminds us that he is still indeed a POLITICIAN…….. Wake up america… you’re alarm clock is connected to a bomb.

Whether it was Barack in the house or another WHITE democrat… the promises would’ve been the same, and charisma exuded….. But politics as usual…….

A time for a REAL change is still at hand…. A time when the Pharisees, excuse me, government is dismantled completely and the people are truly free. A time of no more shackles and regulations that imprison us to believe the only way out of where we are is through no other leaders than GOD…… A true time for God’s presences to be the HOPE….. Not in the face of Man…

And for the people defined as having color… Let’s not forget the prime ministers that reign in african countries today that are more corrupt than “Czars” Let’s not forget who sold their own kind.. Remember those that revolted against their own people…..

Be cognizant of things that come too easy….. People you can relate to that sit in “untouchable” places that promise you peace……

You're not to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or says it.
